Awareness

To build a more welcoming community the community itself has to be involved in the process. For us, this means promoting awareness events among citizens to foster intercultural dialogue by focusing on the stories of the people we host in our reception and, in general, of migrants and refugees.

One of the most important occasion for us is the World Refugee Day, but also the districts feasts where we spend time together with our guests and volunteers in order to create safe spaces of inclusion and aggregation.

Furthermore, we are taking on several projects on a local, national and European level where we actively promote chances of intercultural dialogue with young volunteers. The main goal is to listen to witnesses of migration and try to involve as many perspectives as possible in the way we live our community, to foster a mutual exchange and growth.
