ALWAYS ALONGSIDE ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES IN THE CITY OF PADUA
Since 1990, the Popoli Insieme Association has been committed to building a more welcoming community in the city of Padua.
We are a non-profit voluntary organization and, since our birth, it is the attention to the migrant person that distinguishes our action. Italian and foreign citizens of all ages, creeds, genders and backgrounds are part of the association.
We adhere to the national network of the Centro Astalli and the Jesuit Refugee Service.
What we do
We welcome families and men seeking asylum and refugees, accompanying them on their path of inclusion and autonomy in the territory. We bring intercultural education workshops to schools and promote awareness and training projects, initiatives and events open to citizens.

Building a more welcoming community is possible only if the community becomes the protagonist, which is why we believe in the value and contribution of each one.

Popoli Insieme’s work is supported by the precious contribution of boys and girls who carry out their university internships or an internship period alongside asylum seekers and refugees.
Aimed at boys and girls aged 18 to 28, the Universal Civil Service represents an important opportunity for professional and personal training and growth.
