ESC (European Solidarity Cors): Volunteering with refugees and asylum seekers in Popoli Insieme, Italy

The new call for the ESC (European Solidarity Corps) program is now open!

Through this opportunity, you can apply for a unique volunteer experience, working directly with refugees and asylum seekers here at our association, Popoli Insieme.

The placement is set to last 30 weeks (about 7 months), running from January 12 to July 12, 2026.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be fully integrated into our daily activities, providing practical support to our beneficiaries. Your tasks will include:

• Accommodation Support: visiting and regularly checking the first reception apartments.
• Daily Assistance: helping asylum seekers with everyday needs and navigating local services.
• Event Organization: collaborating in the planning of both institutional and social events for the association.
• Integration Activities: engaging in social projects, sports, gardening, and meetings with local volunteers to support integration.

You will receive training and coordination from social operators, ensuring the experience is both effective and rewarding.
